Signs that Final Four time is here can been seen on the streets around in the area near the Georgia Dome and Centennial Olympic Park.

Many of the streets near those venues had lanes closed today and tomorrow some of those streets will be closed to through traffic.

Meanwhile, inside the Georgia World Congress Center the finishing touches were being applied to Bracket Town, the ultimate Final Four Fanfest. In the atrium of the GWCC  Mayor Kasim Reed, Ambassador Andrew Young and tournament organizers spoke with to the media.

MLK Jr. remembered on the 45th anniversary of death

ATLANTA, Ga. -- Forty-five years ago, Civil Rights Icon Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was standing on the balcony of a motel in Memphis, Tennessee when he was assassinated.

As he stood on the balcony, it would come to be known that James Earl Ray fired the fatal shot from the bathroom of a rooming house, nearby.

The world's heart would skip a beat and a nation falling to its knees, as the leader of the non-violent movement to end racism would be silenced.

The night before his assassination, Dr. King delivered one of his most powerful speeches before a crowded Memphis church. He spoke to the injustice felt by the city's sanitation workers.

Many of those in attendance believed Dr. King knew his time here on earth was nearing its end.

James Earl Ray was convicted in King's death and died some thirty years later in prison.

Mystery Good Samaritan soldier identified

ATLANTA, Ga. -- "Oh, my God it was amazing. It was amazing."

That was the reaction of David Hexton as he photographed the quick action of two soldiers working to free a trapped and injured driver in midtown Monday. Her car had just collided with a school bus.

At the time, nobody knew the names of the two heroes.

But tonight, we know at least one: Taylor Richardson.

"I was coming down the road here and came to the intersection and saw a bus on the side of the road and a bunch of kids standing on the sidewalk," he recalled. "At first, I thought 'Wow, a lot of kids live in this neighborhood. This is quite the bus stop.'"

But a few seconds later, it became clear that a bad accident had taken place at North and Central Park.

That's when Richardson, along with a still-unidentified female soldier, jumped into life-saving mode, while other motorists simply drove past.
