ATLANTA -- The City of Atlanta will begin the process of selecting a company to provide shared ride shuttle service to passengers traveling between Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and some Atlanta neighborhoods on October 26.

Recommendations from Ricondo & Associates Inc., a nationally recognized airport consulting firm, will be a part of the selection process, according to Sonji Jacobs of the City of Atlanta.

In August, Chief Procurement Officer Adam Smith canceled the shared ride shuttle service Request for Proposals; however, the Department of Procurement will conduct a bid process that will include pre-qualification of providers through a Request for Qualification followed by a sealed bid to qualified providers, Jacobs said.
