Sweet Auburn Curb Market hosts ‘Trees of Joy’, November 27th

‘Tis the season for tinsel and mistletoe, holly and jolly; guys, it’s Christmas time, again. And the O4W’s Sweet Auburn Curb Market will host ‘Trees of Joy’, which is in its second year.  During this annual contest, volunteer teams spread some extra holiday joy by decorating Christmas trees that will be donated to families in the area.

Beginning Saturday, November 27, volunteer teams (‘Tinsel Teams’) from all over Atlanta are invited to come to the market to decorate a fresh-cut fir or balsam tree, win wonderful prizes and experience the joy of giving back. Participants can pick up their ‘Trees of Joy’ application when they purchase their team’s holiday tree. ‘Tinsel Teams’ will also provide their own lights and decorations.

The new Eastside Trail will be a 14-foot wide concrete multi-use trail in the Atlanta BeltLine right-of-way which will connect Piedmont Park, the new Historic Fourth Ward Park which is now under construction, and the Freedom Park trail.
